Didin was born, in 1964, in Cirebon, where he still lives with his wife and two children.

He spent five years in the USA at the University of Portland, Oregon, from where he graduated, in 1989, with an MSc in Mechanical Engineering. This is where he also learned about business management systems which he has successfully applied in his varied business enterprises.

From 1989 until 1997 he was a Director of a chain of Sports Clubs in Jakarta. Also in 1989, he became President Director of Cirebon No.1 Hotel, a position he retains.

In 1990 he founded and became President Director of a highly successful a general contractor and supplier, another Cirebon-based company.

It seemed inevitable that he should be involved with Balagi Rattan. From the initial discussions to its formation in the late 80ies with Didin as President Director, the company has been an important part of Cirebon's economy. With his leadership, Balagi Rattan, should thrive for many years to come.
