Finland has been synonymous with elegant yet affordable interior furnishings for the past fifty years. This is where Ilkka was born in, Salo, in 1961.

His education and entire working life has been devoted to providing customers with the best quality furniture.

Since 1986 he has focused on the export of rattan furniture, first with a large rattan furniture importer of Finland and since 1993 with Balagi Rattan.

As a Director he brings unrivalled knowledge of the market demands for well-designed, comfortable and easily maintained furnishings. His long experience is a further asset when dealing with the complex regulations of international trade.

Ilkka now has a base in Cirebon and speaks fluent Bahasa Indonesia, English, as well as his native Finnish.
