Born in 1966, Taufik Gunawan has been in his present position with Balagi Rattan since 1993.

He earned his Masters Degree in Finance from the University Pajajaran, Bandung, in the late 90s after having already gained his Bachelor degree in Management. A post graduate course in Business Administration at the Bandung Institute of Management equipped him with the managerial skills that turned him into an efficient and effective Business Administrator.

Prior to joining Balagi Rattan, Taufik held the Position as Senior Administrator with PT Palaga Jaya, (1986 to 89). In a large textile, where he worked from 1989 to 1990, he further honed his skills as a business administrator. His career then led him to an acclaimed accounting firm where he was a division manager.
